Pastor Rich Cantrell has a passion for God’s Word and a strong commitment to live by it daily. He faithfully exposits and preaches the Word, providing real life, practical applications and examples.
He loves the body of Christ, and uses his gift of exhortation to guide individuals to a more intimate walk with God and dependence on Him. He is eager to see church members experience abundant life both individually and collectively.
Pastor Rich trusted Jesus Christ to be his Savior at the age of 10. Over the years through college, owning his own plumbing business, and later teaching in a public high school, he was faithful to serve the body at PSCC and share the love of Christ abroad on many mission trips. In all of these opportunities he was blessed and grew in his love for God and for people.
In 2004, Pastor Rich married his wife, Carly, and they began pursuing full-time missionary service. During the years of short-term trips, preparation and support-raising, he was called to serve as the associate pastor of PSCC. In August 2009, God called him to be the lead pastor of Paradise Springs, confirming this call, in the hearts of the Cantrells, as well as, the people of PSCC. He feels privileged to fulfill this calling and shepherd this local body.
